Horse Lorry Camper Conversion – Bespoke Design
This conversion was certainly a first for us here at Yeti Campervan Conversions. Our customer approached us as they didn’t want a standard horse lorry living area & instead were looking for something truly bespoke.
With very specific requirements & a unique vision, the brief was to create a practical yet luxurious living space tailored to their needs while travelling to horse shows. We took every detail on board to turn that vision into reality.

This impressive horse lorry comfortably transports two horses, but let’s step inside the living quarters of this truly bespoke camper conversion designed by us.
The aim was to design a modern, refined interior with exceptional attention to detail, while also accommodating two large dog crates with plenty of space for their dogs to travel safely & comfortably.
Designed to feel both spacious & elegant, the interior blends a highly practical layout with high end finishes, making it perfect for extended stays or comfortable travel.
The living area is defined by a striking slatted oak ceiling, beautifully complemented by integrated dimmable LED strip lighting running the full length of the van, creating a warm & ambient atmosphere both day & night.
The kitchen has been thoughtfully designed to maximise usability without compromising on style. It features a solid oak worktop, sleek black mixer tap, integrated sink, two burner gas hob, 90 litre fridge, generous storage, an overhead shelf for essentials, & integrated housing for wine glasses. A 240-volt socket is also included for additional appliances.
Comfortable bench seating upholstered in rich, hard-wearing fabric creates a welcoming lounge area, ideal for dining or unwinding after a long day. Adjacent to the seating are handy accessible shelves housing a voltmeter, two USB sockets, & two USB C sockets for charging 12-volt appliances.
Opposite, additional seating easily converts into a single bed. Beneath the seating are secure, ventilated dog crates, ensuring safe & comfortable travel for their dogs.
Overhead storage units with touch dimmable LED lighting add to the premium finish while providing excellent, accessible storage throughout.
Above the cab is a spacious sleeping area, fully insulated & lined in premium velour carpet to keep it cosy & comfortable for a great night’s sleep. To enhance the ambience further, two reading lights with integrated USB charging ports were installed.
The layout also includes a dedicated shower & toilet area, finished with marble shower panels, a modern lightweight waterproof door, & a Maxxair dome light & fan. Complemented by contemporary fittings, this space offers both privacy & convenience on the road including the luxury of a hot shower wherever the journey takes them.
The beautiful marble panels continue into the entrance hall, which offers ample space & has been designated as a tack area for the horses.
To complete the stylish interior, Vanshades blackout & thermal window blinds mounted on oak panels were fitted, providing excellent insulation, comfort, & privacy.
For ventilation & temperature control, a Maxxair fan was installed, a fantastic piece of equipment that helps keep the living area comfortable in all conditions.
Powering this cosy home on wheels is a leisure battery system, Victron charging system, solar power, & 240-volt hookup, ensuring complete off grid capability & peace of mind.
Every element of this conversion has been custom designed & professionally finished, resulting in a camper that feels luxurious, durable, & completely unique. This is far from a standard conversion, it is a carefully considered living space created for comfort, style, & real world usability that ticks every box & more for our customers, who are now off enjoying their adventures.
